national parks + autumn leaves
On my third trip to Japan, I found myself drawn to the mountains, the changing autumn leaves. When I was younger, the cities like Tokyo and Kyoto stole my heart, but on this third trip, my older, wiser self, sought refuge amongst nature. Wet weather pervaded this trip, but I persisted, one night getting up before the dawn to photograph Kamikochi. My reward? A shooting star. Heaven.
